Montlaur purchased 456 Lonsdale Street as part of a consortium and coordinated a full building upgrade and refurbishment combined with an integrated fitout for Maurice Blackburn Cashman. The property comprises a total site area of 904 m2 with a net lettable area of 8,247 m2.
All base building services including, air conditioning, electrical, fire and lifts were upgraded as part of the refurbishment. Floors were stripped back to shell and core and new architectural finishes and amenities were installed throughout. The ground floor foyer was upgraded and a new facade added.
Montlaur acted as developer, project manager and tenant coordinator to facilitate the refurbishment and negotiate leases with all tenants.
The building was sold to Macquarie Office Trust upon completion of the works.
