Montlaur was engaged to establish Apex Fenner’s operations within Perth, including:
- Development of a property brief for the construction of a purpose built facility for issue to the market. The nature of the operations had to be kept confidential during the search due to market sensitivities.
- Undertaking site inspections and due diligence on suitable properties, in particular exploring the extent of remediation, power upgrades and easement impacts.
- Providing the delivery practicalities for the contract of sale.
- Assessing procurement options and managing the design, construction, tender and contractor appointment.
- Providing client representation during the design and construction phase including management of authorities to ensure infrastructure was delivered to site to suit the contractors program.
- Integration of specialist equipment fabricated and delivered from China and Germany with minimal tolerances.
- Ensuring suitable capacity for future expansion with no impacts on the existing operations.
