Hortus Project 2014 [Seven Seeds]

Pop-Up Cafe & Edible Garden, Docklands VIC

Project Management & Superintendent Services

The Hortus project was initated through an open design competition run by the City of Melbourne and Places Victoria to seek temporary activation of the Docklands waterfront.

The competition was awarded to a collaboration between art curators Utopian Slumps and Folk Architects based on the concept of a glasshouse cafe with an edible garden installation.

With a limited budget, the Hortus project was made possible by contributions from numerous consultants and suppliers within the property industry.

Montlaur provided pro-bono project management services during the design, procurement and delivery phase to support this exciting and creative project.
