Montlaur’s involvement with WorkSafe Victoria commenced in late 2007 with the development of an accommodation brief and needs analysis.

The role continued in 2008 with Montlaur acting as project manager for the WorkSafe Victoria tenancy refurbishment and fitout at 222 Exhibition Street.

The project involved 16 floors of churn stripout, base building upgrade and new fitout within existing occupied premises. The tenancy and base building refurbishment programs ran concurrently with close management of the relocation program to minimise staff disruption without hindering progress on site.

The project was designed to achieve a 5 Star Green Star Office Interiors rating and 4 Star NABERS rating.
